No Limits Community Services Response

At No Limits Community Services, we are following the advice from the World Health Organisation, Australian Federal Government, the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and Northern Territory Government. We monitor these requirements on a daily basis and take immediate measures to meet these requirements.

We have also implemented a range of controls to support the wellbeing of our clients and staff. All our staff are required to complete the Department of Health Covid-19 training. This training includes Covid-19 symptoms to look out for and actions to take.

Support staff have been communicated NLCS Unwell Process and including not attending work if they have symptoms of illness, including cold or flu-like symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, loss of smell, loss of taste, runny nose, muscle pain, joint pain, diarrhoea , nausea/ vomiting, loss of appetite.


For our home visits supports, we:

  • consider alternative non-contact approach such as utilising ZOOM where possible.
  • ensure that our support staff temperature is recorded during the commencement of shift.
  • staff carry their supply of PPE including masks, gloves, face shields and aprons.
  • ensure that the client if feeling well before any services are rendered

For our Short-Term-Accommodation (STA, Respite) and Supported Independent Living (SIL), we:

  • ensure that our support staff temperature is recorded during the commencement of shift.
  • check-in with the client to ensure they are feeling well
  • provide hand sanitiser at the front door and in high traffic areas throughout the accommodation.
  • ensure adequate supplies of soap and sanitiser are available, monitored and replenished as required.
  • display signages throughout the accommodation on information on how to wash and sanitise their hands correctly.
  • Ensure adequate supply of face masks, gloves, face shields and aprons. All staff directed to wear the provided PPE for the duration of their shift.
  • display posters identifying high touch surfaces and ensure high touch surfaces are cleaned frequently and recorded.
